New Pieces
Knook
- Moves like a knight.
- Can also move like a rook for up to 2 squares in any direction.

Underage Pawn
- Moves like a normal pawn.
- First move = 2 squares (unlike standard pawns which now move 3).
- If seen by a bishop, that bishop MUST capture it. Even if it's your own bishop.

Checker
- Moves up to two squares diagonally in any direction.
- Can hop over any piece (friendly or enemy) and chain multiple hops like in checkers.
- Captures are never forced, and hopping over friendly pieces doesn't capture them.
- Reaching the back rank promotes it into a king, giving you an extra life.

Traitor Rook (Neutral Piece)
- Moves like a regular rook.
- Controlled by whichever side has more ADJACENT pieces (NOT overall pieces on the board, just adjacent ones).
- If tied, both sides can move it but neither can capture with it.

Antiqueen
- Moves anywhere the queen cannot within a 5x5 area.
- Which, by definition means... it move like a knight.

New Rules
King Capture
- No check or checkmate.
- You win by physically capturing the opponent's king.

King Touch = Draw
- The two kings touch (adjacent squares).
- The game immediately ends in a draw.

Self-Bishop Castle Capture
- Your own bishop is blocking castling by occupying a square your king or rook would land on after castling.
- You may still castle, capturing your own bishop in the process.

Forced En Passant
If en passant is possible, you must play it.

Long Passant
- An en passant is possible.
- A diagonal chain of aligned pieces continue beyond the target pawn.
- You can continue down the chain in a single move, capturing every piece in the chain.
- If the chain ends on the back rank, your pawn promotes as normal.

Bouncing Bishop
- You can bounce your bishop off the edge of the board.
- You may chain multiple bounces in a single move.
- To bounce, first click your bishop, then click on the edge of the board you want to bounce off of, then you will be able to choose your bouncing path. Repeat this for multiple bounces.
- You cannot bounce off other pieces.
- If your bishop is able to capture an Underage Pawn through bouncing, it still must do so.

Il Vaticano
- There are exactly two squares between your bishops.
- Two enemy pieces occupy those squares.
- Your bishops can swap places and capture both enemy pieces in one move.

Omnipotent Pawn
- Exists on a fixed square: h3 for white, h8 for black.
- If one of your pieces is captured on your Omnipotent Pawn square, you may immediately respond.
- Double click the opponent piece that just captured, and your Omnipotent Pawn spawns on the square and captures it.

Vertical Castling
- Your king hasn't moved yet.
- Your king's pawn promotes to a rook.
- Since both your king and rook have not moved, you can castle vertically along the same file.

Knooklear Fusion
- Your knight lands on the same square as your rook (or vice versa).
- An explosion occurs, capturing every piece in a 3x3 area around them.
- A knook spawns in the center of the explosion.

Queen Beta Decay
- You may split your queen into a rook, knight and a pawn by double clicking your queen if there's space.
- The spawned pawn can promote like a normal pawn, but not to a queen.
- The rook and knight can later perform Knooklear Fusion for massive effect.
